Justin Poruban is a freelance Lighting Designer and Programmer, who is originally based in Connecticut. Justin holds his MFA in Lighting Design from the University of Virginia, and his BFA in Theatre Technology and Design from the University of Connecticut. Some of his previous credits include work produced by Connecticut Repertory Theatre, Bay Street Theater, Hangar Theatre, Utah Festival Opera and Musical Theatre, Walnut Hill School for the Arts, and The University of Virginia.

Justin began spending time in a community theatre in elementary school. At the age of fifteen he started designing and running the two scene preset at a Community Performing Arts Center in Norwalk, CT. Justin had no idea then that would be the spark for his professional career.

Justin is currently a Sales Manager at BMI Supply in Queensbury, NY.
